Hikkaduwa is a small town on the south coast of Sri Lanka located in the Southern Province, about 17 km north-west of Galle and 98 km south of Colombo.Yala was designated as a wildlife sanctuary. The park is best known for its variety of wild animals. It is important for the conservation of Sri Lankan elephants, Sri Lankan leopards and aquatic birds.
Hikkaduwa National Park
Is one of the three marine national parks in Sri Lanka. The national park contains a fringing coral reef of high degree of biodiversity.
Later Proceed to Hikkaduwa for Beach Stay.
Hikkaduwa beach, reputed as the second best surfing spot in Sri Lanka. Also, Hikkaduwa Coral Sanctuary located a few hundred metres offshore. The sanctuary has approximately seventy varieties of multi-coloured corals.
Late afternoon proceed to Galle and conduct a city tour including a visit to the Galle Fort.
